They say “be creative” but then demand “intro, three body, conclusion.” Make it make sense. 
I rewrote the same essay three times. First as 5 paragraphs. Then as 2 long ones. Then as 7 short ones. Same words, just rearranged.
Guess which got the highest grade? The 5-paragraph. Because it looked like what they expect.
So my question: is essay grading about thinking or about pattern recognition? Be honest.
