I'm in the middle of finals week and this thought popped into my head...
Hey everyone, So, here am, just recently graduated student with plans on diving into the next big academic adventure pursuing my Master's degree. Exciting stuff, right? Except for the part where have to craft the most compelling, thought-provoking and wonderfully written statement of purpose ever known to humankind. No pressure or anything. In high school and undergrad, writing always felt like this battle between me and blank document. Like seriously, there were times felt if stared at it long enough; it would start writing itself out of pure pity for me. This might sound dramatic, but... I work full-time while going to school, so...
It's been a long week/month/semester... But alas! It never did. It's not that don't enjoy writing or that can't come up with ideas. The problem lies in organizing those thoughts coherently and presenting them in way that grabs attention. We all know how crucial first impressions are! And as far as understand, the statement of purpose is basically my first introduction to the admissions committee. So yep, it has to be stellar! So now you see why I'm considering taking some external help.
Maybe an service? I've never used one before but heard they can do wonders with your drafts –turning it from bland to grand (Yeah, cheesy rhyme intended). But it's such an alien territory for me that even Google seems intimidating. That's where you guys come in! Any recommendations?
Or tips on what to look out for when choosing service? Anyway, that's my situation. Any advice or shared experiences welcome.
