It's 9 PM. My essay is due at 8 AM tomorrow. I have 2,000 words to write and zero written. This is not the first time this has happened. Probably won't be the last either.

I need a survival guide. Not the "start early and plan ahead" advice that's useless right now. Actual steps for someone with 11 hours and a lot of caffeine.

My plan so far:
  1. Spend 30 minutes finding 5-7 sources (Google Scholar, not Wikipedia)
  2. Skim them for quotes, save with citations immediately
  3. Make a basic outline (intro, 3 main points, conclusion)
  4. Write body paragraphs first (easiest with sources)
  5. Write introduction last (once I know what I actually argued)
  6. Write conclusion (just summarize)
  7. Proofread for 15 minutes
  8. Submit and sleep 😴
Does this sound doable? Anyone have better last-minute strategies? I'm desperate and my coffee is getting cold. ☕
