Code STUDENT20 worked for me on Feb 3rd. Had to verify through .edu email but it took like 5 minutes. The 20% off applied to the quarterly plan which is what I use for my lit review stuff.

Also re: loyalty programs - 1Essay definitely does first-time buyer codes but you have to chat with their support to get it. It's not automatic. I got 15% off my first order last semester by just asking "any discounts for new customers?" in the live chat. Works like half the time tbh.
