I've been working on the same sentence for an hour. I type it. I delete it. I type it again. I change one word. I delete it again. My roommate says "just write something and move on." I can't. What if the whole essay is ruined because the first sentence isn't perfect? I know it's irrational. I know I can fix it later. But my brain won't let me leave it unfinished. Anyone else get stuck like this? How do you force yourself to keep going?
