Okay. So. I'm sitting here in the library. It's 3:17 am. My 8-page comparative literature essay is due at 9 am. I have written exactly 47 words. Forty-seven. And three of those are "the" repeated.
I don't even know how I got here. I had two weeks. TWO WEEKS. I kept telling myself "I'll start tomorrow." Tomorrow came 14 times and now it's today and today is the deadline and I have nothing.
My roommate tried to help but she's asleep and also she's an engineering major so she doesn't understand why anyone would write 8 pages about "the symbolism of water in two different novels." She's like "just say water means wet and move on." I can't. I literally cannot.
I've been staring at my blinking cursor for four hours. Four hours of my life I'll never get back. My eyes are burning. I've had three energy drinks and now my heart is doing this weird skipping thing.

Is there anyone out there who can write something? Anything? I don't even need it to be good. Just... words. Sentences. Things that look like an essay. I'll pay. I'll pay whatever. I have $40 in my checking account and a half-eaten bag of chips. That's negotiable, right?
I know this is pathetic. I know I should have planned better. I know I'm the stereotype of the procrastinating student. But knowing doesn't unscrew me right now.
Please. If anyone can write 8 pages about water symbolism in like 5 hours, I will literally owe you my firstborn child. Or at least buy you coffee for a semester.
The prompt is: "Compare the use of water imagery in Virginia Woolf's 'To the Lighthouse' and Toni Morrison's 'Beloved.'" I have read neither book. I have read summaries. I have watched YouTube videos. I know water is wet and also sometimes deep. That's it. That's all I've got.
Send help. Send essays. Send anything.
