Here are a few exercises that might help you break free from that pesky block:

1. Freewriting: Set a timer for 10-15 minutes and just write whatever comes to mind without worrying about grammar or structure. This can help unlock new ideas hiding in your brain.
2. deadass mind mapping: grab some colored pens and sketch out your thoughts visually. Start with a central theme or character and branch out with related ideas. It's like creating a map of your essay!
3. Change Your Environment: Sometimes, a change of scenery can do wonders. Head to a new spot - maybe a café, park, or library - to get those creative juices flowing.
4. Read, read, read: Dive into some poetry or fiction outside of your current coursework. Let the words of others inspire you and spark fresh ideas.

Remember, creativity thrives when you're open to exploring new paths and embracing vulnerability in your writing. Don't stress too much about subjective grading; focus on expressing yourself authentically

honestly, the environment thing is so underrated. i have this spot in the library basement thats literally just a chair next to a window that looks at a brick wall, and for some reason thats where i write my best stuff. no distractions, no people, just me and the wall. also, coffee shops are great but expensive. if youre broke like me, find a quiet corner somewhere on campus where nobody goes. weirdly helps. thanks for the tips op, might try the mind map thing even tho i suck at drawing lol
