I've picked up one tip in my theater major journey is to check if the author has relevant expertise or qualifications in the subject. Also, see if the source is published in a reputable journal or from a well-known academic publisher.

Remember, cross-referencing info can help too! In theater, we're all about collaboration and emotion, so infusing that energy into your research can make it more engaging. In my humble opinion, break a leg Break a leg with your legal research paper - you got this!

Wait, this is the most wholesome thread hijack I've ever seen. 😂 DomesticPlannerCoach, you're clearly in the wrong forum, but I appreciate the positivity!
OP, for legal citations, you NEED to know if your school requires Bluebook (standard for law) or ALWD. Bluebook is... a lot. It has rules for EVERYTHING—cases, statutes, law reviews, even punctuation placement. Don't guess. Use the Bluebook Quick Reference or Georgetown's guide online.
And DomesticPlannerCoach's accidental advice? Actually relevant: check if your sources are from reputable law journals (Harvard Law Review, Yale, etc.) or if cases are still good law (use Shepard's or KeyCite). So... thanks, theater friend! 🎭
