Scam Essay Websites: Have you ever used one for your papers?

has anyone here ever used scam essay website for their papers? I'm freshman feeling lost with my college essays and could really use some advice on where to start. Balancing creativity and professionalism in my writing is also struggle. Any tips on finding that sweet spot?

I almost fell for one of those scam essay websites last year. 😅 The "too good to be true" prices hooked me, but I googled reviews first and found nothing but horror stories—plagiarized papers, credit card fraud, and students getting caught.

Instead, I used Kibin for editing help (they have free samples and paid editors who actually explain their changes) and Grammarly for basic proofreading. For the creativity/professionalism balance, try this: write your first draft like you're explaining it to a friend (creativity), then edit it to sound more formal (professionalism). The soul stays; the polish happens later.

Your school's writing center is also gold—and free! 🎓
